Martin luther King Jr. was born on January 15 1929. He led the Montgomery Bus Boycott because a woman named Rosa Parks was denied a seat on a bus because of her skin color.
During this boycott, his house was bombed and his family faced great danger. The Boycott kept running and the bus company went bankrupted. Before he was assasinated by a gunman in 1964, he gave his "I Have A Dream " speech, which had a profound effect on many. He did not live to see his dream come true, but his work helped in getting equal freedom to all races.
