Cool Tricks on Google

Google always finds a way to make thing better, and if that means having some fun, then let the fun begin!


1. Google Hacker (1337 5p3@k)

Leet Speak is a so-called language of hackers. Google has allowed users who are firmilar with this 'language' to enjoy their searching experice with a modified Goolge homepage.

2. Do a Barrel Roll

Who said you can't teach an old search engine new tricks? Try searching 'do a barrel roll'... You won't be sorry.

3. Google Pac-man

Google made a Pac-Man doodle to celebrate the 30th anniversary of of the popular classic video game Pac-Man.

4. God on Google Earth?

In 2010, peopel around the world was surprised to see a Google streetview image with what was supposedly an appearence of god.

4. Google Tilt

Want to see what happens when googles perfect lines aren't so perfect? Search for 'tilt' or 'askew' and see what happens.

5. Dragon Slayer

If you create or open any spreadsheet on Google Docs, pressing Shift+F12 pops up a message that says: “Dragon slain! Congratulations, you’ve slain the dragon!


6. Recursion

Type “recursion” into the Google search bar and Google in return asks, rather recursively: “Did you mean recursion?”

7. Google Nessie

Use the beach theme with the iGoogle homepage, then wait until the clock strikes 3:14 AM. Or just change your pc clock forward and see the monster that comes out.


8. Flight Simulator

It was initially a easter-egg in Google Earth but later became a feature due to poplular demand. Just click Tools > Enter Flight Simulator, and you’re off to make a round-the-world tour.


9. Google Anagram

Type “anagram” into the Google search bar and Google in return asks: “Did you mean nag a ram?”, which is an anagram of the word anagram...

10. Chicken Rolling

Chicken-rolling, on the other hand, is like Rick-rolling, but with one dancing man eating fried chicken legs. Type “2204355” then click “I’m feeling lucky.” See what happens.
